Clarification Text Regarding the Processing of Personal Data Collected Through Forms

Our company requests certain personal data from you (such as name, surname, password, email address, mobile phone number) in order to fulfill its legal obligations under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and other relevant legislation, and to manage its processes. Such personal data will be processed and stored in an environment not accessible to the public, solely based on your explicit consent, and will not be used for purposes other than those stated in this KVKK and Clarification Text.

 

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Personal data collected by our company may be processed for the purposes of planning and executing commercial activities, providing legally required information to authorized institutions and organizations, resolving consumer complaints on matters not directly provided or outside our expertise, sending commercial electronic communications upon your explicit consent, planning and executing necessary audit activities to ensure operations comply with our company procedures and relevant legislation, planning and executing corporate sustainability activities, protecting our company’s reputation, managing requests and complaints, and planning and executing corporate governance and communication activities.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, honesty, relevance, limitation, and retention for only the period necessary as required by applicable legislation. Such processing may include collecting, recording, storing, preserving, modifying, reorganizing, or other similar operations, either automatically or manually. Collected information will not be shared with third parties without your knowledge or contrary instructions, will not be used for commercial purposes outside the intended scope, and will not be sold.

 

Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data obtained from you may be shared with the Ministry of Trade, domestic, international, and overseas public/private institutions and organizations, companies, our company’s consultants or partners, other group companies, suppliers or subcontractors, legally authorized public or private entities, or other persons or entities permitted or required by legislation, for the purposes stated above and in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, honesty, relevance, limitation, and retention for the period required.

Unless you provide explicit consent, your personal data will not be transferred to third parties except as permitted under Articles 5 and 8 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

 

Methods of Collecting Personal Data

Personal data may be collected via our website in written, verbal, or electronic form.

 

Deletion, Destruction, or Anonymization of Personal Data

Pursuant to Article 7 of the KVKK, even if personal data have been processed in accordance with relevant legislation, if the reasons requiring their processing cease to exist, the data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized by our company either ex officio or upon the request of the data subject.

Procedures and principles regarding this process will be carried out in accordance with the KVKK and the “Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data” published in the Official Gazette No. 30224 dated 28.10.2017. Personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized within three months following the date on which our obligation arises.

If you request the deletion or destruction of your personal data by contacting our company:

a) If all conditions for processing personal data no longer exist, your data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. Your request will be completed within 30 days, and you will be notified.

b) If all conditions for processing personal data no longer exist and the requested personal data have been transferred to third parties, such third parties will be notified, and necessary actions will be ensured in accordance with the regulation.

c) If not all conditions for processing personal data have ceased to exist, your request may be rejected, explaining the justification under the third paragraph of Article 13 of the KVKK. The rejection will be communicated to you in writing or electronically within 30 days.

 

Your Rights Under the Personal Data Protection Law

According to Article 11 of the Law, as a data subject, customers have the right to:

  • Learn whether their personal data are being processed,

  • Request information if their personal data have been processed,

  • Learn the purpose of the processing and whether personal data are used in accordance with that purpose,

  • Know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data have been transferred,

  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,

  • Request deletion, anonymization, or destruction of personal data,

  • Request that third parties be notified in the event of correction, deletion, anonymization, or destruction,

  • Object to outcomes that may negatively affect them as a result of exclusively automated analysis of their data,

  • Request compensation if they suffer damage due to unlawful processing of their personal data.

Non-personal information refers to data that cannot personally identify you. Such information may be used for any purpose and shared with third parties without consent.
