Functional Reusable Textile Product Development Partner Wanted (Germany)
A buyer from Germany is looking for an experienced textile product development and manufacturing partner for the long-term development of an innovative, reusable, and functional textile product designed for the maternity and breastfeeding period.
The project is being developed under the Blosseyra brand and is currently in the research, material development, and prototyping stage as part of an academic R&D collaboration with a university in Germany.
The first product under development is a reusable, multilayer functional textile product designed for direct skin contact. It is not a standard garment, but a technical textile solution requiring expertise in functional materials, technical textiles, and precision manufacturing.
The buyer is seeking manufacturers with experience in the following areas:
- Custom product development
- Prototype design and development
- Functional and multilayer textile products
- Absorbent textile systems
- OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified materials (preferably Product Class I)
- GOTS, OCS, GRS, or RCS certified materials
- Low-volume sampling and pilot production
- Export experience to European Union countries
- Product development under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Manufacturers with experience in reusable hygiene products, medical textiles, breastfeeding products, or other functional textile solutions are especially encouraged to respond.
Interested manufacturers are requested to provide information regarding:
- Product development capabilities
- Prototype development process
- Minimum order quantities (MOQ) for sampling and pilot production
- Production lead times
- Available certified materials
- Quality control procedures
- Export experience within the European Union
- Previous experience with technical or functional textile products
- Willingness to work under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
